Diporto is located at 1 Sotiros and Palaiologou Street, on the imaginary border between Old Town and New. It first opened its doors as a wine cellar in 1987 and in 1988 changed its route and continued its operation as a galley, offering omelets and enlgish breakfast in the morning hours , cooked, of the hour and fresh round, the rest of the day, mainly addressed to local employees of the surrounding area, who were looking for homemade food.Diporto was one of the first two shops that served around Corfu and had thus become a reference and meeting point for the locals.In 2000 it was converted exclusively to a galley, with the new generation taking over the reins. This family business has chosen to operate based on the authenticity of the materials and the friendly relationship with the customers. The oil used in cooking is of the family itself, all meats are always used fresh vegetables, all season. Diporto, a warm family-run establishment in the centre of Corfu offers traditional Corfiot cuisine, has, flavors of the island.
