One of the many beautiful churches of Corfu town where John Kapodistrias, the first governor of Greece, was baptized.It was built in the early 14th century and owes its name to the fact that it is the oldest church on the island.During the Second World War when the Serbian government fled to Corfu, the church was given to the Serbs to celebrate the divine service.
