Kaiser Observatory

At the top of Pelekas hill, in the middle of West Corfu, you will meet on the rock, the Kaiser Observatory, which was named after the Emperor of Germany William II, also known as the Kaiser who used to come to this point to swim the panoramic view from the top of the hill, enjoying the sunset.

From the Kaiser Observatory, the view is panoramic, both to the interior of the island and to the sea, where the sun can be seen immersed in the sea, with the colors of the west all over the horizon. From this point you can watch the binoculars and admire even the neighboring beaches of Kontogialos and Glyfada. Below the Kaiser Observatory there is a café-bar and there is parking for many cars.
